The Story of Child S.H.A.R.E

There are over 7,500 children in Oklahoma's foster care system.  On any given day, one hundred and fifty children need a family to care for them.  When foster homes are not available, these children have to live in county shelters.  Sadly, the need for foster famililes continues to grow.  

Child S.H.A.R.E. provides a solution to this growing problem by working with licensing agencies, faith communities, organizations and volunteers to recruit and support full-time foster care families.  This network helps provide for their needs with services such as clothing and equipment, support groups and family events.  By having a strong support system wrapped around foster families, they are more able to care for the children in their homes.

Child S.H.A.R.E. is an ecumenical, non-profit program, which encourages parents and volunteers to be involved in some capacity of caring for foster care children.  Child S.H.A.R.E. services are available in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa areas. 

How Can You Help?

Just by consigning you are helping the Child S.H.A.R.E. organization Just Between Friends will be donating a portion of the profit to this wonderful community outreach. Donating your unsold items will help many children in need.
